Dr. Renato A. De Oliveira

Renato Oliveira, M.D., is a fellowship-trained, board-certified vascular neurologist who specializes in neuroendovascular procedures to treat patients experiencing conditions such as cerebral aneurysms, ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes and cerebral vascular malformations. He completed a neurology residency and a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a fellowship in neuroendovascular surgery at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Prior to that, Dr. Oliveira earned his medical degree from the Federal University of Ceará School of Medicine in Fortaleza, Brazil. He is board-certified in both neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Oliveira takes pride in harnessing the power of cutting-edge technologies and neurointerventional techniques to provide the highest standard of care available in order to offer the best possible outcomes for his patients. Born and raised in Fortaleza, Brazil, Dr. Oliveira appreciates the natural landscapes and sense of community in coastal Virginia. He is fluent in English and Portuguese. When he’s not at work, he enjoys studying music, playing tennis, running and traveling.
