Philosophy of care | My philosophy of care is shared decision-making and individualized health care. My role as a physician is to develop a trustworthy relationship, present patients with their options and make evidence-based recommendations. I then become their advocate and build a plan of care that fits their personal goals and lifestyle. I want my patients to feel like I took care of them as family. | Why I entered medicine | I pursued a career in medicine to have a positive impact on the people and community around me. I have always been intrigued by the relationship between the human body and medical conditions. Being a physician allows me not only to learn about these ailments, but also provides me with an opportunity to teach my patients about them as well. | Community involvement | New to the area, I am looking for local volunteer opportunities. | Personal interests | When not working I enjoy seeing family and friends, exploring local cuisine with my husband and spending time with our cats, Evie and Zoe. I enjoy autumn, especially Halloween, a good crime podcast and a book that’s hard to put down.
