Overview
Dr. Patel is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Patel has worked as an outpatient pediatrician for the last four years in St. Louis, Missouri while her husband completed his medical training. She grew up in the North Texas area before graduating Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University (SMU). She earned her medical degree at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas and completed her pediatric residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She joined Forest Lane Pediatrics in 2022 and is excited to be back in the DFW area closer to her family.
Dr. Patel is a new mom and looks forward to helping families navigate the joys and struggles of being a new parent. She believes it is an honor for families to trust her in the care of their children. She lives in the Plano area with her husband and daughters. Outside of caring for patients, she enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her family.
