"Thomas R. Bowen, MD, is chief of Orthopaedic Oncology for the Geisinger Musculoskeletal Institute and an orthopaedic surgeon at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Bowen earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa. He continued his orthopaedic residency at Geisinger Medical Center and then proceeded to Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital for fellowship training in orthopaedic oncology. Dr. Bowen is board certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
