Robert V. Starling

Overview

Robert Starling, MD, was inspired to pursue medicine by his childhood pediatrician, who treated him and his family with care and compassion. After medical school, Dr. Starling chose to specialize in brain and spine surgery because he could provide that level of personal care and make a difference in his patients’ lives. 'It’s important to listen to your patients,' he says, 'because without their voice, it’s difficult to find the right treatment plan for them.' A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Starling came to the Appalachian Highlands for the opportunity to work with an amazing team of professionals at Ballad Health Medical Associates.

His top area of expertise is Subdural Hematoma.

His clinical research consists of co-authoring 2 peer reviewed articles. MediFind looks at clinical research from the past 15 years.
