Rosina Ellington, NP is a dedicated Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Wound Care Specialist. She is well experienced in assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex and chronic wounds as well as supervising Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Rosina obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 1996 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Barry University in 1999. She is fluent in Spanish.
Rosina has a passion for implementing advanced wound care therapies while also educating patients and caregivers about diabetes and personal wound care management. With a strong focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care, Rosina has a proven track record of developing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal healing outcomes. Rosina consistently optimizes her patients' wound healing capabilities by collaborating with several multidisciplinary healthcare teams including but not limited to Vascular Infectious disease, plastic surgery, and Registered Dietitians.
In her spare time, Rosina enjoys reading, watching soccer games, and traveling with her son to his competitive soccer matches.
