Overview
My passion for sports medicine physical therapy stems from it being the intersection between two passions of mine: sports and rehabilitation. My clinical expertise is in both non-operative and post-operative rehabilitation for all orthopaedic conditions for all ages with a specific interest in the soccer player population. I am the Managing Director of the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence at Duke Sports Medicine, 1 of only 3 in the USA and 1 of 49 worldwide, where our team specializes in high-quality, soccer-specific injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. My treatment approach is focused around an individualized and progressive therapeutic exercise prescription, complemented with manual therapy techniques (soft tissue and joint mobilizations), blood flow restriction training, dry needling, and neuromuscular electrical stimulation. My goal is your goal: to return to participating in your desired activity or sport. I am really excited to be practicing at Duke Health, and I look forward to providing you with excellent care. When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young sons, traveling, exploring my new home here in North Carolina, and playing and watching soccer.
