Overview
I’m a certified nurse-midwife who provides care for women throughout their lifespan, from puberty to their menopausal years. Many people think of a midwife as only caring for patients through their pregnancy. But being with women during many stages of their lives is one of my favorite aspects of my profession. It's such an honor to meet with patients to discuss contraception and find the modality best suited for their preferences. And when they decide it is time for a pregnancy, I can help them throughout their pregnancies, labor and birth, and their postpartum journeys. I love family planning, well-woman care, preventive health care and caring for women throughout their perimenopause years. I specialize in normal physiologic birth, unmedicated births, VBAC and water birth. I’m also able to care for patients who may need medical interventions if there are complications during pregnancy.
