Received her LPN at Lenape in Ford City. Attended WCCC while working in Med -Surg at the Va hospital obtaining her RN. Worked at Valley Family Medicine for 15 years while furthering her education. Received her bachelor’s degree at Waynesburg University. Went on to be a Clinical nurse specialist and Rounded at St. Margaret’s with Dr. Schowalter while completing the master’s and NP program at Carlow. Joined his practice at graduation. She has taught nursing school at GJCTC for several years. In addition, worked in Hospice Care and rounded at nursing homes due to her love of the geriatric population.She belongs to the Pennsylvania Coalition of nurse Practioner’s and the AANP. Sits on the Wellness board at the United Methodist Church. Enjoys crocheting and spending time with her seven grandchildren. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has 3 grown children.
