Dr. Tamara Lotan is a Professor of Pathology, Oncology and Urology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her area of clinical expertise is urologic pathology. The group has a particular interest in the molecular contributors to prostate cancer health disparities. Her group also studies mTOR signaling and its role in tumorigenesis, with a focus on renal oncogenesis. Dr. Lotan is engaged in research training and is the co-PI of the OPTIC T32 in pathology, enabling pathology residents to engage in 2-3 years of laboratory research.
