After finishing medical school at the University of South Dakota, I completed my general surgery training at Maine Medical Center and was drawn to the surgical care and treatment of cancer. This led me to completing my fellowship training in Surgical Oncology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Through my work as a surgical oncologist, I have found the privilege of touching countless lives across the continuum of their cancer care. Every cancer patient and their family are different, with their own unique needs. My goal is to design an individual treatment plan to help each one of my patients to achieve the best outcome possible.My professional interests include breast cancer, melanoma, skin cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, rectal cancer, sarcoma and surgical management of solid tumors.
