Overview
Dr. Sara Ghevariya is an obstetrician and gynecologist with specific areas on interest including minimally invasive and a robotic approach to GYN surgery, high risk obstetrics, and treating diabetes in pregnancy. As a person living with type 1 diabetes herself, Dr. Ghevariya is very passionate about advancements in diabetic care. She has a great wealth of knowledge, from both medical and personal experience, to share with her patients.
Dr. Ghevariya grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and earned her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University. She then attended medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia graduating in 2017. Dr. Ghevaryia completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in Long Island, New York in 2021.
Dr. Ghevariya currently lives in Orland Park with her husband, their son, and their boston terrier, Lola. She enjoys exploring all that the great city of Chicago has to offer. She can also be found relaxing at Lake Michigan with family and friends on her off time.
