Overview
I see children for both well and sick visits from birth through their college years. When it comes to taking care of children and raising children, there are often many ways to do it. What works for one family may not work for another. One of my roles is to help parents figure out what works for them. I enjoy developing partnerships with families and making joint decisions to provide their child with the best care possible. To me, effective primary care also means listening to patients and utilizing preventive health measures to support children through their formative years. I strive to make my patients and their families feel as comfortable as possible during each office visit. When not practicing pediatrics, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters. We enjoy hiking in the mountains of North Carolina, exploring nature, silly dancing, cooking, and playing tennis. Being a mom to my two young daughters has taught me to take a more practical approach when providing guidance to patients and their families.
