I am a nurse practitioner who is experienced in occupational medicine and provides holistic, patient-centered and evidence-based care. My role includes a focus on workplace health, injury evaluation and management, and preventive care, as well as handling required pre-employment physical exams required by agencies such as the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) for commercial drivers. I also conduct exams – known as surveillance exams – for hazardous materials exposure required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The aspect of occupational medicine I enjoy the most is helping patients return to their pre-injury activities. Work-related injuries affect more than just physical health; they often also carry significant emotional and financial impact. I’m committed to supporting patients through recovery with empathy and clear communication while helping them regain confidence as they safely return to work.
