Sarah Nichols, DO, always knew she wanted to help others, and found her calling in pediatrics during medical school. “I knew pediatrics was the right specialty for me because even on difficult days, I find joy in the children I help,” says Dr. Nichols. She believes her patients and their families deserve to feel truly heard and understood. A lifelong East Tennessee resident, Dr. Nichols fell in love with the Appalachian Highlands during her residency at East Tennessee State University.
