Overview
I love working with families and children of all ages. It is a unique privilege to follow children and their families from birth through adolescence. I enjoy working with newborns with special needs and medical complexity, but also love regular newborn care and the nursery. I have a special interest in working with adolescents, including mental health and reproductive health. I speak Spanish and enjoy working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. My goal as a pediatrician is to listen to families and work with families to address each child's health and developmental needs. I live in Durham with my husband, child, and two dogs. I enjoy cooking, hiking, and traveling. I love to spend time hiking at the Eno River with my family and dogs. Hablo español y me encanta trabajar con familias hispanohablantes.
