Dr. Marakos completed her residency at Inova Children’s Hospital in 2024. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Tufts University and attended medical school at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is particularly interested in newborn care and preventative medicine. Dr. Marakos is originally from New Jersey where she still enjoys visiting her family and going to the beach in the summer. She now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two young daughters. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, and exploring all the playgrounds and parks in Northern Virginia with her family!.
