She was also recognized for her excellence in teaching, teamwork and patient care with multiple awards.|Committed to advancing the field of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Podwika's research interests include cervical cancer testing and healthcare reimbursement for gynecologic procedures. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and has volunteered and conducted research in countries like Rwanda, Tanzania, and Guatemala.|Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Podwika worked as a certified public accountant. When she's not attending to her hospital duties, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children. She is excited to be back in central Pennsylvania, where she was raised.
