Overview
As a board certified emergency physician, I am comfortable dealing with all manner of medical emergencies. I particularly enjoy meeting new people and quickly establishing a rapport with them as I go about my work of diagnosing and treating illness and injury. I view patient education as an integral part of my job; I enjoy answering questions for patients and helping them understand the complexities of medical care. As a parent myself, I can identify with the parents of sick or injured children and enjoy helping them become comfortable with the medical process as I take care of their child. I have two sons, both adopted from South Korea. In my free time, I enjoy biking, gardening and golf. My boys and I also enjoy outdoor activities in the winter, from sledding and skating to building snowmen and having enthusiastic snowball battles. Thanks to my children, I have become proficient at various games on my smartphone! MY wife, Susan, and I enjoy all manner of sports, especially following the Twins and Vikings.
