Overview
Philosophy of care | To put it simply, I strive to provide the best health care for every patient, every day, close to home. My goal for the children I care for in the pediatric intensive care unit is “hometown healing.” While what we do medically for a patient is obviously very important, it’s greatly enhanced by having family and friends nearby. So, providing excellent care that keeps kids and their families in the area is what we should make every effort to do. | Why I entered medicine | Really for me it was just the ability to be there for somebody in their darkest times and hopefully make a difference. | Community involvement | My wife and I participate in local philanthropic events, including the Cetronia Ambulance Corps gala and the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley gala. We also donate to those groups and other local non-profits because we want to honor people who work hard for the good of the community. | Personal interests | For many years, my wife and I played volleyball year-round with a local league. Now that we have a daughter, we enjoy spending time together, including going out to eat and traveling.
