I was born in Philadelphia and raised in Burgaw, North Carolina. I graduated with honors from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Biology. I received my Doctorate of Medicine from East Carolina University in 1998. I completed my residency in pediatrics in Pittsburgh, PA at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2002. Prior to Growing Child Pediatrics, I worked in Harnett County. I have been working at Growing Child Pediatrics since October of 2004. My favorite hobbies are container gardening, theater arts, and traveling. I am the first member in my immediate and extended family to receive a medical degree.
