For more than 15 years, I have provided palliative care to patients and their families. In this role, I aim to give patients control when options feel limited. I explore patient values and recommend a medical plan that aligns with what is most important to them.|Why I Love My Work|I enjoy meeting with patients and families, hearing their stories, helping them to understand and finding out what matters to them most.I was drawn to both the scientific and human aspects of providing medical care. I don’t feel like I chose palliative care. It chose me.|Getting to Know Me|Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, being with family, practicing yoga and scuba diving with my husband.
