Dr. Shelby Frantz

Dr. Shelby Frantz is a fellowship-trained interventional radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. She uses medical imaging to guide minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat an array of conditions that once required open surgery. Her expertise includes: Computed tomography (CT) Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) X-ray Ultrasound Dr. Frantz’s Training Dr. Frantz received her bachelor’s degree in food science and human nutrition from the University of Florida in Gainesville, graduating cum laude. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and completed her interventional radiology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. About Dr. Frantz Dr. Frantz is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology and American Medical Association. She has participated in research studies on outcomes of interventional radiology treatments, and her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Liver Cancer and Liver Embolization.

Dr. Frantz is board certified in American Board Of Radiology. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 6 peer reviewed articles.
