Overview
Within my role in family medicine, I strive to give patients space to express their concerns and feel heard. I aim to make mutual decisions with patients regarding their care and to create achievable goals with them to help with their conditions.|My clinical interests include mental health, gender medicine and women’s health.|I’ve completed additional training in transgender and gender-diverse medical care.|Why I Love My Work|I enjoy family medicine because of the variety of age groups I see and conditions I encounter. No day is ever the same.|I really love connecting with patients and developing longstanding, caring relationships with them. I aim to be a trusted partner as they go through health challenges and celebrate health victories. It is always a great feeling when you see patients at follow-up appointments and they have made a lot of progress.|From an early age I was drawn to science and medicine. I have always been fascinated by the human body and wanted to know more so that I could share that knowledge with others. In elementary school I asked for a microscope for Christmas!|Getting to Know Me|Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, baking, watching TV/movies, going to concerts, kayaking, hiking and hanging out with my cat. A unique fact about me is that I have been to all 50 states!.
