Overview
Stephanie Taets joined the Mitchell County Regional Health Center (MCRHC) provider team in January 2016. Taets is an Osage native and graduate of Osage High School. She worked at MCRHC from 2002-2014 primarily as an RN in the OR/ER/Med Surg Departments, while continuing her education to later graduate from Allen College with her Post-Masters FNP Certification. Taets provides care in the Emergency Department in addition to her family medicine practice in the MCRHC Riceville Clinic. She has a special interest in Forensic Nursing, recently completing advanced training for assault/aexual assault examinations. Taets chose a career in rural medicine because she enjoys getting to know patients for who they are as well as being able to help optimize their health. In her free time Taets enjoys axe throwing, gardening, golfing, travel and spending time with family. One of her favorite Mitchell County events is the 4th of July parade.
