Overview
Steven earned a Bachelor of Science in health sciences from James Madison University in 2016, followed by a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2020. He is board-certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. After beginning his health care career as an emergency medical technician, Steven pursued his interest in orthopedics, particularly the surgical setting, by joining Riverside Regional Medical Center’s orthopedic trauma team. He enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level while tailoring treatments to their individual needs to help them recover and regain quality of life. A Hampton Roads native who grew up in Chesapeake, Steven enjoys being near the beach, waterways and amenities of a large metropolitan area without the feel or traffic of a big city. His favorite hobbies include spending time with his wife and dog, wakeboarding, surfing, hiking and going to the beach.
