Overview

Dr. Ukarapong is medical director of pediatric endocrinology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the medical staff in 2022. Dr. Ukarapong earned his medical degree from Mahidol University, located in Bangkok, Thailand. He completed his pediatric residency in 2008 at Long Island College Hospital in New York and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in 2011. In 2019, he earned his Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from Florida International University, Chapman School of Business, Miami. He held the position of associate professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. His interests include general endocrinology, bone and mineral disorders in children, medical education and health care administration.

His clinical expertise encompasses Childhood Hypophosphatasia (HPP), Precocious Puberty, Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), and Turner Syndrome.

Dr. Ukarapong is board certified in American Board Of Pediatrics. He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 7 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Ukarapong is currently accepting new patients.
