Dr. Swathi M. Gowtham

Dr. Gowtham is a board-certified and fellowship-trained specialist in pediatric infectious diseases. Her clinical interests include treatment of pediatric HIV, hepatitis B and C, Lyme disease and treatment of infections in pediatric oncology, transplant and immunocompromised patients. Her research interests include prevention of hospital-acquired infections in pediatric patients. Dr. Gowtham earned her medical degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and completed her residency at the same institute. She completed a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Gowtham is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric infectious diseases.
