Sydney earned a Bachelor of Science in health sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. She earned a Master of Physician Assistant degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2020. Sydney is board-certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Sydney spent eight years as an emergency medical technician before becoming a physician assistant, a role that allows her to build on her passion for trauma care through the specialty of orthopedics. Her goal is to supply each patient with the tools needed to regain normal activity and quality of life. Sydney treats all of her patients as if they were loved ones, always striving to provide the best standard of care possible. Raised in a small farming community in Alberta, Canada, Sydney is an avid hockey fan who loves skiing, snowboarding and all winter sports. She enjoys filling up her passport pages while backpacking and scuba diving around the world. Sydney appreciates the balance of large-city amenities with the quiet rural areas of Hampton Roads, as well as the beaches and nearby mountains that our area has to offer.
