Dr. Tammer M. Raouf

Tammer Raouf, DO is an Orthopedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon committed to helping patients return to comfortable, active, and fulfilling lives. Inspired by his father, a physician he admired for his integrity and dedication to patient care, Dr. Raouf knew early on that he wanted to pursue medicine. He considers it a privilege to use his training and skills to help patients overcome pain and restore function. Dr. Raouf was drawn to orthopedic surgery for its unique blend of anatomy, physics, and biology, where thoughtful problem-solving meets precise, hands-on care. He chose to specialize in hand and wrist surgery because of the intricate anatomy and the wide range of conditions it allows him to treat. His clinical interests include fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, nerve disorders, and other conditions affecting the elbow through the fingertips. In practice, Dr. Raouf treats orthopedic trauma throughout the body, with a surgical focus on upper extremity conditions. He is motivated by the trust patients place in him and is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, individualized care that supports healing and long-term function. While he enjoys the technical aspects of surgery, his most rewarding moments come from seeing patients recover and return to their everyday activities. Dr. Raouf’s perspective has been shaped by both his extensive training and life experiences during medical school, residency, and fellowship, when he began raising a family. These experiences reinforce his patient-centered approach and appreciation for the meaningful role health plays in everyday life. He speaks conversational Arabic and Spanish.
