One of the many reasons I chose a career in internal medicine is for the opportunity to form long-term relationships with my patients. I believe active listening and shared decision-making are key components in providing high quality, individualized medical care. My clinical interests span the entire spectrum of adult health care, from disease prevention to management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Outside of medicine, I enjoy walking my dog, Archie, trying new restaurants in Durham, and spending time with family and friends.
