Overview
Theresa is originally from Dallas, Texas. She earned a bachelor of science in Nursing, followed by her Doctorate Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 5 years. Following her doctorate education, she moved to Denver, Colorado to begin work as a Nurse Practitioner. As a Nurse Practitioner, Theresa enjoys working with patients who take ownership of making changes in their own lives. She enjoys learning about each patient and learning from each patient. She is passionate about holistic care and treating the individual.
�Working with chronic diseases such as obesity, I find it important to listen, to learn about each person�s life experiences and to assist each individual to improve his or her medical condition through an individualized approach. It is important to me to provide up-to-date information in an honest and thoughtful manner.�
When she is not at work, Theresa enjoys yoga, skiing, reading, painting, hiking with her dog, volunteering, traveling, spending time with husband/family and attending concerts, especially at Red Rocks.
