I chose a career in medicine because I love helping people and pushing myself to be the best provider I can be. Orthopedics resonated with me particularly because of the nature of the diagnoses and their effect on an individual's function. I enjoy working with patients to maximize their recovery and to utilize a plan that works for them. What I want my patients to know about me:I have an athletic background and worked in emergency medicine services prior to obtaining my Physician Assistant Certification. These experiences have shown me the importance of orthopedic care and the significance of regaining musculoskeletal functionality. I was raised Lancaster County, so I enjoy building relationships and getting to know my patients.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy practicing/competing in Jiu Jitsu, exercising and watching movies/sports.

I am the Clinical Fellowship Director Emeritus for the orthopedics department at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. I’m a professor of orthopedic surgery and pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, and frequently teach and lecture at national and international courses, educational symposia, conferences and other institutions.
