It was there he discovered his passion for primary care, finding fulfillment in caring for diverse patient populations. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT, drawn by its exceptional family medicine and world-class sports medicine training, as well as its proximity to the mountains. The most rewarding part of being a physician, he states, is gaining patients' trust and the continuous opportunity to learn every day.Dr. Troy’s patient care philosophy centers on providing trusted, evidence-based recommendations while respecting patient autonomy. He strives to meet patients where they are, ensuring safety and wellness are prioritized in all decision-making. He enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, and mountain climbing, as well as trail running and mountain biking. He is a fan of FC Cincinnati and the Bengals, and cherishes going on walks with his wife and dog, and spending time with friends and family.".
