I chose a career in hospital medicine because I like being a part of a team that is challenged with managing patients who have complex medical conditions. I enjoy connecting with patients and trying to ease their anxiety during what is often a very stressful time. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three boys. With what little time I have left over, I also enjoy biking and golfing. I am a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM).
