Overview
It is an incredible privilege to work with children and their families. Raising children is hard work but it is so rewarding. Coming alongside families to support them, watch their children grow and serve them when they are sick is what makes this special for me. I see much of my job as helping families learn what to expect and anticipate what comes next — whether their child is healthy and growing or sick. In particular, I enjoy working with infants and their families on the full spectrum of their care — from breastfeeding (I am a certified lactation counselor) to normal development. Because so many habits and patterns are built early on that kids carry with them their whole lives, part of my job is to help families develop those lifelong skills.
