Traci M. Kazmerski, MD, MS, is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist and health services researcher at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Kazmerski earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where she also completed her residency and fellowship. She completed the Harvard-Wide Pediatric Health Services Research Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and a fellowship at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement following graduation. Since returning as faculty in 2018, her research centers on the improvement of comprehensive health care for adolescents and young adults with pediatric-onset chronic disease. As the Vice Chair of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation TDN Sexual Health, Reproduction, and Gender Research Working Group, her current projects focus on improving the sexual and reproductive health care of people with cystic fibrosis.  She also serves as Chair of the UPMC Children’s Hospital Transition Task Force, which seeks to optimize the health care transition from pediatric adult care services.View Dr. Kazmerski's full list of publications from PubMed.
