Travis Kruger, MD, is a UW Health psychiatrist and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He cares for adult patients with a broad spectrum of mental health conditions.Dr. Kruger helps patients manage a wide array of mental health concerns, ranging from day-to-day stress to severe mental illness. He specializes in treating adults with long-lasting conditions. These include anxiety and mood disorders, learning difficulties, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).Recognizing that he often meets his patients in their most challenging times, Dr. Kruger offers a safe, welcoming space for them to share their stories. As an advocate of whole-person care, he works with patients to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life. Above all, he strives to help his patients reconnect with their loved ones and get back to doing the things they enjoy.In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kruger educates incoming medical students and residents.Outside of work, Dr. Kruger enjoys biking, cross-country skiing, watersports and spending time with his family and pet hedgehog.I strive to address more than just my patient’s symptoms — I am dedicated to helping them achieve their goals.
