Philosophy of care | No medical issue is too small! I want to make sure the women I help feel empowered and make their own health a priority. As a provider, I want to help you feel your health and well-being is important too! I'm not afraid to reach out to a specialist when needed to make sure you receive the best care possible. | Why I entered medicine | I entered nursing school with a significant interest in women's health. After nearly two years as an inpatient medical-surgical nurse, I transitioned to a postpartum unit and found my passion for helping women transition to the role of mother. As I read their medical histories, I became more and more interested in the women's health beyond obstetrics and found myself back in school to become a women's health nurse practitioner! | Community involvement | I donate regularly to Goodwill and local animal shelters. I also frequently support the Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue in their fundraising events. And, as an alumnus, I support Penn State’s annual dance marathon raise money to fight pediatric cancer. | Personal interests | I love to cross-stitch and recently learned how to crochet. I love to run, read and am a huge Harry Potter nerd. My fiancé and I love to snuggle our adorable dog Bishop.
