Dr. Venkat Gundareddy

Dr. Venkat P. Gundareddy is an associate professor of medicine at the Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He received his M.B.B.S degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Hyderabad, India in 2004. He completed his residency training from St Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY. He received his M.P.H degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2015. Academic interests focused around clinical operational excellence, quality & patient safety, utilization, innovations and leadership. Dr. Gundareddy received numerous certifications in quality/patient safety through Armstrong Institute of Patient Safety and Quality at Johns Hopkins University and was actively involved in various quality improvement projects at the Bayview Campus. Dr. Gundareddy, currently serves as the Associate Division Director for the Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He also works as a Physician Advisor for the Care Management Department of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He is a diplomate for the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He is currently a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a senior fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Gundareddy is board certified in American Board Of Internal Medicine. He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 12 peer reviewed articles.
