Philosophy of care | My philosophy is to remain patient focused. I enjoy developing relationships with my patients – and their families. I always wanted to work in health care, and nursing seemed a perfect fit. Taking care of individuals as a whole person is vital, and the nursing and nurse practitioner profession has provided me with the tools to accomplish that. | Why I entered medicine | I entered medicine because I genuinely want to help and encourage people to live their healthiest lives. I chose bariatric medicine because of my passion for health and fitness. | Community involvement | I am looking forward to becoming involved in my community and new home state of Pennsylvania. | Personal interests | I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and dog. My other interests include just about anything outdoors: hiking, kayaking, biking, fishing and exercising.
