I chose family medicine because I truly enjoy caring for patients of all ages and helping them through acute illness and chronic conditions, or updating preventive medicine needs. I value the ability to get to know entire families and care for all ages. Developing relationships with my patients and establishing good lines of communication are very important. I have a special interest in preventive care and really enjoy guiding each patient to their optimal health. I also spend time working with medical residents and enjoy watching and supporting their development.
