Overview
Born and raised here in the mountains of the Appalachian Highlands, Wanda Jarrett, FNP, never planned on a career in healthcare; however, difficult family situations left lasting impressions, and she wanted to use her experiences to help others. Jarrett completed her master’s degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. To help patients’ through their health and wellness journeys, she believes in building relationships with patients and their families, researching and listening. Jarrett says “By listening to your patients, it can make a world of difference in their healthcare and comfort.” In her downtime, Jarrett can be found volunteering locally at Providence Medical Clinic, a free welfare clinic that services uninsured local residents. When she is spending time with her husband and three kids, they can be found running around playing disc golf or hiking.
