The care I provide reflects how I would want my own friends and family to be treated. | Why I entered medicine | Growing up in a low-income area, I witnessed inequities that solidified my desire to work in a field where I could help those needing it most. I also knew I wanted an intellectually stimulating career. Initially, I aspired to become an astrobiologist, but soon realized the practice of medicine offered a way to combine both my goals – helping people and being challenged. | Personal interests | In my spare time I enjoy food, travel, exercise, animals and music.
