"Originally from Gate City, Virginia, Wendy Chartier, FNP-BC, has lived in the Appalachian Highlands her entire life and loves the outdoor activities in the area. Wendy began her nursing career in labor delivery nursing, later transitioning to pediatric neurology bringing with her over 17 years of experience in primary care pediatrics. Inspired by her father-in-law's medical career, she says, ""I am passionate about making a difference in children's lives, and I strive to treat my patients as I would my own family."" When she isn't seeing patients, she enjoys traveling and running marathons, completing a 50-state marathon challenge.".
