I chose to work in pediatrics because I like learning about patients as a whole instead of focusing on just one physical system or structure. As a general pediatrician, I get to see many different types of patients with many different problems. I enjoy working with children; they are fun to be around, and helping them move toward their best health is especially rewarding.
