I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I wanted to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. I enjoy the challenge of medical investigation and promoting physical healing while also helping a patient and family navigate health challenges and find emotional and spiritual healing.What I want my patients to know about me:I am passionate about critical care medicine and advancements in medical knowledge pertaining to this field. I also love being able to assist my patients beyond the intensive care unit and focus on both recovery from their acute illness as well as proactive measures to prevent future illnesses and diseases.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I have two very active young children who regularly join me on outdoor hikes. Our family goal is to explore every state, national park, and natural area in this region. I also enjoy fishing, camping, wildlife photography, and really any activities that get me outdoors.
