What is Erivedge (Vismodegib)?

ERIVEDGE is indicated for the treatment of adults with metastatic basal cell carcinoma, or with locally advanced basal cell carcinoma that has recurred following surgery or who are not candidates for surgery and who are not candidates for radiation. ERIVEDGE ® is a hedgehog pathway inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adults with metastatic basal cell carcinoma, or with locally advanced basal cell carcinoma that has recurred following surgery or who are not candidates for surgery and who are not candidates for radiation.

Phase II Trial of SMO/ AKT/ NF2/CDK Inhibitors in Progressive Meningiomas With SMO/ AKT/ NF2/CDK Pathway Mutations

Summary: This phase II trial studies how well vismodegib, focal adhesion kinase (FAK) inhibitor GSK2256098, and capivasertib work in treating patients with meningioma that is growing, spreading, or getting worse (progressive). Vismodegib, FAK inhibitor GSK2256098, capivasertib, and abemaciclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Adaptive Therapy of Vismodegib in Advanced Basal Cell Carcinoma

Summary: The purpose of this study is to compare how well tolerated and effective four different dosing schedules (two personalized, intermittent dosing schedules as compared to a fixed intermittent and continuous dosing regimen) work in people with advanced basal cell carcinoma.

Canadian Profiling and Targeted Agent Utilization Trial (CAPTUR): A Phase II Basket Trial

Summary: Cancer drugs which target the effects of abnormal gene changes are called 'targeted therapies'. This study, called PM.1 or CAPTUR, will include some targeted therapies that are currently available. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the effects on a patient and their cancer when they are given a targeted therapy drug that is specific to an abnormal gene change in their cancer.
