Effect of the Addition of Netarsudil 0.02% vs. Brimonidine 0.1% in Normal Tension Glaucoma Patients Currently on Latanoprost 0.005%

Summary: A randomized, multicenter, investigator-masked prospective study of NTG patients currently on latanoprost 0.005% monotherapy, to study the effect of IOP change with the introduction of netarsudil 0.02% vs brimonidine 0.1%. Subjects will be assessed at a screening visit, and 1 follow-up visit. Clinical evaluations will include visual acuity and IOP .

A Phase 2 Randomized, Multi-center, Parallel, Active-controlled Clinical Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Intracameral PA5108 Ocular Implants in Patients With Primary Open-angle Glaucoma, or Ocular Hypertension

Summary: The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the dose of PA5108 Ocular Implant that is effective and safe for the reduction of intraocular pressure in adult patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, compared to the standard treatment therapy.

Efficacy and Tolerability of Simbrinza and Rocklatan vs. Cosopt

Summary: A randomized, multi-site, parallel-group, prospective study of patients who are adults with a diagnosis of mild to moderate open-angle glaucoma (OAG), currently on an on-label use of combination topical medication of Cosopt and Latanoprost for a minimum of 1 month.

Effect of Medically Intraocular Pressure Lowering on Progressive High Myopia

Summary: Currently, whether and when intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering medication should be used in progressive high myopia (HM) to control axial elongation is still a dilemma. Randomized trials are required to evaluate whether IOP lowering influences the growth of axial length in progressive HM eyes.

A Phase III Study Including a Single-Arm, Open-Label, Multi-Dose PK Study Cohort and a Randomized, Evaluator-Masked, Active Drug Controlled, Parallel Group, Multicenter, Bridging Study Cohort With a Long-term Follow-up Phase Assessing the Efficacy and Safety of DE-117B Eye Drops in Subjects With Primary Open Angle Glaucoma or Ocular Hypertension in China

Summary: This is a Phase III Study that includes a single arm, open-label, multi-dose PK study cohort and a randomized, evaluator-masked, active drug-control multicenter study. Subjects diagnosed with POAG (Primary Open Angle Glaucoma) or OHT (Ocular Hypertension) who meet eligibility criteria will washout of their current IOP lowering medication(s), if any. The study will investigate plasma pharmacokineti...

Improved Efficacy of Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty With the Addition of Rocklatan Post-treatment vs Artificial Tears Post-treatment

Summary: A randomized, single-site, parallel-group, prospective study of patients who are candidates for SLT, to study the effect of IOP change with Rocklatan vs artificial tears.

Inflammatory Biomarkers in Ocular Surface in Patients With Primary Open Angle Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertension Under Topical Prostaglandin Therapy

Summary: Glaucoma is a chronic optic neuropathy whose main modifiable risk factor is an abnormally elevated intraocular pressure. The aim of glaucoma treatment is to slow the progression of the disease by reducing intraocular pressure. Prostaglandin derivatives are the most effective topical drugs in reducing intraocular pressure (IOP). Among these, latanoprost was the first agent of this type to be approv...

Evaluation of Latanoprost Combined With Fractional Erbium- YAG Laser Versus Microneedling in Alopecia Areata Treatment

Summary: Alopecia areata (AA) an autoimmune disorder of hair follicles results in varying degrees of scalp, facial and body hair loss. Clinically, patients' presentation varies from patchy circumscribed scalp involvement to total body and scalp hair loss affects up to 2% of the general population. The exact pathobiology of AA has still remained elusive, while the common theory is the collapse of the immune...
