OPtimisation of Antiviral Therapy in Immunocompromised COVID-19 Patients: a Randomized Factorial Controlled Strategy Trial: the SWISS OPTICOV Study

Summary: The overall purpose of the trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of possible combination antiviral therapy direct antiviral agents (remdesivir + nirmatrelvir/r) versus the reference monotherapy (nirmatrelvir/r alone) and to assess the efficacy and safety of increasing the nirmatrelvir/r course from 5- to 10 days in immunocompromised patients diagnosed with asymptomatic or mild to moderate C...

A Phase I Study of Intra-anally Administered Lopinavir/Ritonavir in People Living With HIV (PLWH) With High-Grade Anal Intraepithelial Neoplasia (AIN 2/3)

Summary: This study is being done to assess the safety of lopinavir/ritonavir in patients with PLWH with AIN. 30 participants will be recruited and can expect to be on active study for approximately 3 months and long term follow up for 40 weeks.

A Phase 1/2a, Multicenter, Open-Label, First in Human Study to Assess the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Preliminary Antitumor Activity of DB-1303/BNT323 in Patients With Advanced/Metastatic Solid Tumors

Summary: This is a dose-escalation and dose-expansion Phase 1/2a trial to evaluate the safety and tolerability of DB-1303/BNT323 in subjects with advanced solid tumors that express HER2.

A Multicenter, Open-Label, Randomized Phase 2a Study to Evaluate Safety and Efficacy of Ratutrelvir and Standard of Care in Non-hospitalized Symptomatic Adult Participants With Mild to Moderate COVID-19

Summary: This is an Early-stage Clinical Trial to Determine a Safe and Effective Dose for Ratutrelvir in Patients With Mild to Moderate COVID-19. It will also learn about the safety of drug Ratutrelvir. Participants will take a study drug as well as a standard therapy. A descriptive statistics will be used to present the study results.

AGILE: Seamless Phase I/IIa Platform for the Rapid Evaluation of Candidates for COVID-19 Treatment

Summary: The AGILE platform master protocol allows incorporation of a range of identified and yet-to-be-identified candidates as potential treatments for adults with COVID-19 into the trial. Candidates will be added into the trial via candidate-specific trial (CST) protocols of this master protocol as appendices. Having one master protocol ensures different candidates are evaluated in the same consistent m...

Finding Treatments for COVID-19: A Phase 2 Multi-centre Adaptive Platform Trial to Assess Antiviral Pharmacodynamics in Early Symptomatic COVID-19 (PLATCOV)

Summary: The trial will develop and validate a platform for quantitative assessment of antiviral effects in low-risk patients with high viral burdens and uncomplicated COVID-19 to determine in-vivo antiviral activity. In this randomized open label, controlled, group sequential adaptive platform trial, we will assess the performance of three distinct types of intervention relative to control (no treatment):...

An Open-label, Single-arm Study to Provide Continued Access to Study Drug to Participants Who Have Completed Pediatric Clinical Studies Involving Gilead HIV Treatments

Summary: The goal of this clinical study is to provide continued access to the study drug(s) to children and adolescents with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) who completed their participation in an applicable parent study and to monitor for adverse events. The primary objectives of this study are as follows: * To provide continued access to the study drug received in the parent protocol or swit...

Very Early Intensive Treatment of Infants Living With HIV to Achieve HIV Remission: A Phase I/II Proof of Concept Study

Summary: The study will explore the effects of early intensive antiretroviral therapy (ART) with or without a broadly neutralizing antibody (bNAb) on achieving HIV remission (HIV RNA below the limit of detection of the assay) among infants living with HIV.

Investigating the Optimal Management of Dolutegravir Resistance: an Open-label Randomised Controlled Trial of Maintaining Dolutegravir or Switch to Ritonavir-boosted Darunavir

Summary: This clinical trial will address the gap in published data on the effect of dolutegravir (DTG)-associated drug-resistant mutations on viral suppression among people remaining on DTG-based antiretroviral therapy. It will also address the gap in the optimal management strategy for this population.

Post Marketing Surveillance to Observe Safety and Effectiveness of PAXLOVID in Patients With Positive Results of Viral Testing, and Who Are at High Risk for Progression to Severe COVID-19

Summary: The purpose of this study is to look at the safety and effectiveness of PAXLOVID in the real world and not in clinical studies. The study observes patients who have a high chance of getting severe COVID-19 in Korea. This study is seeking participants who are: * Patients with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 symptoms and at high chance of getting severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death. * Pati...

A PHASE 2/3, INTERVENTIONAL SAFETY, PHARMACOKINETICS, AND EFFICACY, OPEN-LABEL, MULTI-CENTER, SINGLE-ARM STUDY TO INVESTIGATE ORALLY ADMINISTERED PF-07321332 (NIRMATRELVIR)/RITONAVIR IN NONHOSPITALIZED SYMPTOMATIC PEDIATRIC PARTICIPANTS WITH COVID-19 WHO ARE AT RISK OF PROGRESSION TO SEVERE DISEASE

Summary: The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety, pharmacokinetics (pharmacokinetics helps us understand how the drug is changed and eliminated from your body after you take it), and efficacy (how well a study treatment works in the study) of the study medicine (called nirmatrelvir/ritonavir) for potential treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The study medicine will be ...
